Back from OKW

Well this is my first time ever staying at OKW and staying in a villa and i can say i was really impressed and had an amazing holiday.

Firstly i requested a refurbished villa which we received, close to bus stop, lovely view and not too far from the hospitality house.

The Disney buses were so easy to get, we never had to wait long and always found a seat and we used the disney transport everyday.

The villa was very clean and the bed in the master room was the most comfortable i have stayed in and i wish i could have took it home.

We got OKW as a free upgrade from Port orleans riverside and i was just totally amazed at everything now i have to go back there again.

Only small downside is that it would be nice to have more drink refill stations and more counter service options but we wasn't too far from downtown disney for lunch.

Oh small problem toilet broke twice but it was fixed very quick.

What size unit were you in? I assume either 1 bedroom or studio.
OKW is our favorite if you are talking about 1,2, or 3 bedroom villas.

Any idea how you got such a great upgrade? Did it pique your interest in finding out more about joining the Disney Vacation Club? (It can be hard to go back to hotel rooms after a timeshare/DVC stay).

I haven't a clue why we got the upgrade, we got offered it through virgin holidays, got an e-mail just after i paid off our holiday. I am in the uk so not sure if it was offered through the holiday company.

As for the vacation club yes we have looked into it, waiting on the DVD and just need to check out money, lol.
