Back from GF-loved it!

Thanks to all on these boards for answering my questions and hepling me plan a wonderful trip. I'd be glad to answer any questions.

GFwas at 100% capacity during our stay 11/11-11/16. Room was ready at 3PM. Had room # 8425 in Boca Chica. Had a somewhat obstructed view of the castle through the trees. At first I was disappointed not to be in Sago or Conch with a better view,but ended up really liking the location of the Boca Chica building. The big pool was right there,and Gasparilla's and the boat dock were close as was the main building. Really liked being so close to the pool-convenient just to run up and get more sunscreen,drinks etc.

The room was in excellent condition,very clean and well maintained by mousekeeping all week. Enjoyed nightly turndown service,did not have to request it.

Bellman brought me both a fridge and a coffeemaker without my requesting it. I was not charged for the fridge.

Watched Wishes from the hot tub one evening- very magical.

Each day in the main building more and more Christmas decorations were up,including the gingerbread house.

Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Wish i was still there...

That's okay, Awatt. Hopefully Santa will bring you a digital camera for Christmas.

What was your room like? I haven't stayed in Boca Chica yet. What theme was your room decorated in (Alice, Cameo, Swan)?

I believe it was Floral. But the pillows on the daybed were Alice-related. Very pretty.

We had two queens and a daybed,and a small table with 2 chairs.Combo TV armoire and dresser.
Split bathroom,with a double sink.
I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room.

Welcome back! Glad you had a great time! Like Janet, I sure do wish you had a digital camera. They really are a great investment.

Sounds like you had a great trip.... Hey we're heading out tomorrow and will also be staying at GF lagoon view!

Question: I hear they are installing high-speed internet service into the rooms. Was your room hooked up yet? I think the install's not schedule for another week, but I'm hoping their ahead of plan.
