Back from Florida

Well our trip was great weather was great. We got there on Mar 27 took it easy got settled in then started off with Sea World then Universal went up to Daytona and the ocean for part of the day. We ended up at Disney for Apr 1, 2, 3, 4th. Did some of the things we did before but mainly went on new things of interested to my kids now that they are 5 years older. We started off at DisneyQuest it is a great place for people that like virtual games but for me it was along day of waiting around since just about everything would have caused me to feel ill because of motion sickness. Nice to do once I would do something else if we were to go again. The line ups were never bad all day except for the animation drawing was about a 20 min wait and the Songmaker. We found the songmaker disappointing since they do all the singing. The Rollercoaster was a big hit. The next day we went to Animal Kingdom in the Morning and Epcot Future World in the afternoon staying into the earlier evening. We did the Safaris and trail in Africa and the Flights of Wonder which was interesting and the Kali River Rapids which the enjoyed but was to short, also seen It's Tough to be a Bug and the Tarzan Rocks which is interesting to watch and lots of songs. The boys went on Mission: Space if you don't like spinning it might make you feel a little off. My oldest did not feel well the rest of the day. Did Body Wars and Cranium Command, Test Track - long wait but interesting displays finished off the day with Innoventions East. Designed a robot for a race I placed 3rd beat out my kids and my husband. One of the kids placed 3rd on style then we built a robot to take home. We all really enjoyed this. Make sure to check the times on when this building closed it was 7pm the night we were there. Next day we went to MGM did Star tours, Backlot Tour, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, The Magic of Disney Animation, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, the stunt show with the cars is it Lights, Motors Action was quite good. Can get a fastpass for that and still have another fastpass. Walked to the bridge on the boardwalk and watched Epcot fireworks that was ok but could not see everything. Magic Kingdom on the Monday was an absolute zoo. Did Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Stitch's Great Escape, Mickey's PhiliharMagic the Haunted Mansion - boring then the kids went back to the pool and I went to World's Showcase on my own. It was wonderful could go into all the little shops was disappointed thou there was no living statues while I was there and they do not have the Beavertails at the Canadian exhibit. It was a nice break but seeing the kids excitment just cannot be beat. Waiting for the Spectro Magic parade was like standing in a sauna we were about mid way in a ground at least 5 rows ahead of us and behind us. But it was nice to see. Waited for the fireworks after which were amazing moved across the street had more room. We stayed the beginning of our trip at a condo which was great it was about a 15 min drive to Disney. The last 3 days we stayed at the Dolphin. The boat & bus transportation is a very nice way to go quick and easy hardly no lines. It was also not to far a walk to Epcot. On the way you would walk down the Boardwalk past the Big River Grill and Brew Works great food and prices. Gullivers was ok but very pricy in the Swan. Only hard fries and ice cream at the _______fountain in the Dolphin but good. The Dolphin was very very nice the pools were cold, hot tub was nice also, our room had a balcony which faced Tower of Terror and Mickey's big hat.

I too love the Dolphin...........the pools were adjusted to make it feel cold to us when we were there. Sounds like you had a great time and that is what matters the most
