back from Battleship Cove, Fall River

open 9-5, it was recommended to allow at least 4hrs to tour (we spent just over 4.5)

1hr15min drive from Worc area - down 146 to Providence, then 195 to Fall River

We saw and toured the USS Massachusetts battleship (w/large museum inside - we spent about 2hrs in here), USS Lionfish attack submarine, Hiddensee, USS Joseph P Kennedy Jr destroyer, PT boats inside a seperate bldg
we saw/heard a 21 gun salute from the USS Massachusetts
no strollers - lots of climbing up/down steep ladders - lots of hallways - definately a place for older boys and their dads - boy scouts staying overnight on the USS Massachusetts

food at their snack stand very inexpensive
carousel on grounds - 3/$1 or .50 ea
state park next door

Sounds like a place I could spend all day, NH, and Marie could spend 5 minutes. I love those kinds of things to do, very interesting.

Well when you all come out I will take girls shopping and DH will take men touring........lol We are very near there........sad to say Ive never heard of it.
