Spent 5 days at the Royal Towers at Atlantis, saw Paradise Island and Nassau shopping. Will answer any and all questions.

We leave Monday for 5 days on Paradise Island.

How was the water slides - we are thinking of including it.

Other than resort stuff anything fun?

I have always wanted to go there and was looking into going next year but the rooms are so expensive. What activities are included in the price? If things are extra can you give me a guesstimate of what they cost? Also, did you do the dining plan?

Thanks! Hope it was a great trip!

Just how expensive is the food? In Disney Terms. If I bought one meal at a counter service how would that compare with counter service meal in Atlantis?

PS My ds6 is dying to go everytime he sees the commerical. Luckily when he sees the picture of us at CSR and their pool he is content to go back to CSR. I raised him right!:thumbsup2

Waterpark is beautiful. We do the waterparks at Wisconsin Dells so weren't enthralled but they are good.

We did excursions not part of Atlantis for snorkeling and beach time.

Let me know the ages that will be there and I will tell you what is fun.

I wouldn't pay the prices again, I would stay at Comfort Suites and have the access to the waterparks.

All that is included is the waterpark, pools, beach, walking through the aquarium. To swim with the dolphins is extra. You can snorkel through all the lagoons if you have your own equipment or you can do their tour.

I would stay at Comfort Suites, do the excursions to the private islands and save the money that Atlantis charges.

If you stay and eat at the Atlantis Resort restuarants it is expensive. Our first night we ate at the casino restuarant and it was $100 for 2 (1 drink each). They include a 15% tip on each check.

Sizes are not as big as Disney counter service but prices are just as high. Always order the meal!!!!!!! cereal bowl $7.50 by its self cereal bowl, fruit, coffee $8.

If you go off Paradise Island into Nassau (Senor Frogs, Hard Rock, McDonalds, KFC etc..) the prices are the same as stateside and it is only a $4 cab ride from Atlantis to the restuarant/shopping area
