Back from a wonderful honeymoon

Okay my new husband and I recently returned from our Disney Honeymoon, and it was fabulous!

It was my first trip to Disney and I knew it would be nice, but I never expected such wonderful treatment. All the little extras really made this the perfect honeymoon spot for us.

Animal Kingdom Lodge was our resort, which I can not say enough nice things about. I highly recommend it to anyone, don't worry about the bus rides to the parks, it really only took about 10-12 minutes. Being able to see beautiful exotic animals on a daily basis is worth it!

I took the advice of the ladies from previous treads and we got the honeymoon pins from Guest Relations. We wore them every day and really were treated extra special. We also had the Mickey/Minney wedding ears, which we wore for two days and that was a lot of fun too.

We had many "magic moments" which I thank the Cast Members for. I was so sad to leave, I didn't want to come back home.

We already plan to go back, most likely for an anniversary.

Oh, I LOVE Animal Kingdom Lodge--when I took my fiance for his first trip to Disney, that's where we stayed. I think AKL is what got him hooked!

We stayed at AKL right before DFi left for a military deployment... it couldn't have been better

AKL was wonderful, the rooms were very nice. Exactly like the pictures online.

Our housekeeper would make cute surprises out of face cloths and hand towels and leave them in our room, we loved it.

One night we also came back to find an autographed photo from Mickey and Minney wishing us a wonderful honeymoon.

The Boma was delicious and the Maya (quick service) restaurant was convenient.

The pool was huge... I loved everything. If you go, I hope you have a wonderful time!

Congrats!!! Disney is such a magical place. I don't know how many times I have been there (more than 20), but each time the experience blows me away. =)
