We got back last night from a brilliant trip to DLP in the amazingly hot weather - will do a TR but thought I'd post the customary highs and lows!
Thanks for all the tips and advice on here which definitely helped us make the most of it. My OH is officially converted and already talking about next time!
Highs-
Everything - we just had a fantastic time all round! Just as good as I remembered if not better!
Super hot weather every day - felt like Florida and could have done with a water ride!
Eurostar - took the indirect service via Lille, very straight forward and loved being right at St Pancras and not hours away at the airport
Ibis hotel - basic but clean and comfy, right by the RER station and only 2 mins journey from Marne La Vallee
Top rides - Buzz, ToT, BTM
Lows -well, there aren't any really, quite a few ride closures but we did everything we wanted to (except Crush and Indiana Jones, which we knew were closed beforehand - next time!) Food wasn't amazing but always found something we liked and the cost was pretty reasonable compared to UK theme parks - and we didn't try the nicer restaurants in the hotels to be fair, as trying to save ££. Nothing to complain about!
Thanks everyone - now to plan for a new countdown, we have APs to use!
