Wow, it was hot and crowded, but it was Disney and we didn't care. We had a fab time and the BWI is a beautiful Resort. We were able to enjoy the quiet pool and the main pool. Our room was 4724. We had a courtyard view (as requested) with a view of the top of the Eiffle Tower, some of Spaceship Earth and Japan. It was fantastic. Not too far from the elevator and very quiet. We were very pleased. :yay:

Mousekeeping was fantastic, room was always very clean. The room was a bit older and could use some refurbing, but I didn't pay much attention to that. I thought it fit the theme of the hotel and made it feel authentic. :dance3:

Didn't bother getting a mug, too much trouble to refill. There really isn't a lot of choices for a CS lunch. That was probably this hotels biggest downfall. They really need a food court of some sort. I can't say enough about the location. It was the best. We ate at Spoodles (very good, one of the best of our trip) also did pizza at the Spoodles Window and Cape May. Also ate at the Bakery several times. That place is crazy. Very tiny and always a huge line no matter what time of the day or night. Oh well :confused3

We walked over to the BC one night and watched Toy Story on the beach. It was so awesome. They had a movie on the beach every night. They also have a fire and sell a "Smores Kit" for $7.00. Very cool. popcorn::

We rented a family bike and made the loop twice for like $23.00. Fun Fun!! There is so much going on. We saw magic acts, jugglers, a traveling piano player, and a comedian.

We were on the dining plan and the Screen Door was the best. They let you get anything edible for under $4 using a snack credit. We got so much there...big bags of chips, big bottles of soda, dozen donuts etc. ;)

We were there for two weeks and we did a lot including the Pirate and Princess Party and we were on the dining plan plus I am sure I am leaving stuff out, so feel free to ask lots of questions.:thumbsup2

Wow.....all I can say is 2 weeks? I am a Disney nut but even 2 weeks is too much for me. Didn't you just love the BWI though? We stayed at a 1 BR Villa last year in November and it was just fantastic. We had a great view and it was like having our own apartment in Disney. I loved having all that space. We are trying SSR this November and looking forward to it....So happy you had a wonderful time....:goodvibes

Hello, fellow New Englander!!!
Please post photos when they are available.

Great pictures. If that view of the eiffel tower is from your balcony you could have been in the room we stayed in in Dec. I don't remember the number. I thought the mugs were easy to refill. It was totally worth it to me. I liked getting the drink in a cup instead of actually putting it into the mug. I used it for coffee at the little piano bar thingy in the first floor and at the bakery and pizza window for sodas. Hardly ever had to wait except at the bakery. It's a great resort.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing them and for taking time to write the review. We will be on the DDP while at the BWI -- where did you use your CS credits? Does the Spoodles pizza place honor the DDP? Other than that and the bakery, is there anywhere else to use them? Also, did you find the boardwalk area to be very busy and noisy? We're staying in a deluxe room and I understand that's a BW view, wondering if it gets noisy.
We're still trying to decide between BW and YC, if you did it again, would you still choose the BWI?
One last question...did the clown face in the pool look as scary in person as in pictures? :scared1: :lmao:

CS credits were really tough. No choices at all. Cannot use at Spoodles Pizza Window, or any of the carts on the BW, nopt even at the pool. The bakery was the only option at the BW. They had salad or sandwiches or you could get a pastry and 2 drink for a CS. If you walk over to BC they had a few more options. We ate lunch by the pool and they had burgers and chicken strips, and also used some CS in their Gift Shop. They have a great spot in there for the mugs and had some nice sandwiches and deserts.

The BW was busy every night until around 11 at least. I didn't find it noisy though, mostly interesting and entertaining, but my room faced a courtyard so I escaped the busy BW most nights.

All in all we loved the resort. Wish there were more CS options, but that is really the only negative thing I can say. Would definitely stay here again.:thumbsup2

Love your pictures and glad you liked it there, we are DVC owners at BWV and love it there.

We were there 8/18 - 25th and loved it - except for the heat!! The BWI is one of our favorite places to be. Our room was right above the candy shop -did you ever see us on our balcony? :) Dd8 loved to sit out there and watch the night-time activities.
