Wow, it was hot and crowded, but it was Disney and we didn't care. We had a fab time and the BWI is a beautiful Resort. We were able to enjoy the quiet pool and the main pool. Our room was 4724. We had a courtyard view (as requested) with a view of the top of the Eiffle Tower, some of Spaceship Earth and Japan. It was fantastic. Not too far from the elevator and very quiet. We were very pleased.
Mousekeeping was fantastic, room was always very clean. The room was a bit older and could use some refurbing, but I didn't pay much attention to that. I thought it fit the theme of the hotel and made it feel authentic.
Didn't bother getting a mug, too much trouble to refill. There really isn't a lot of choices for a CS lunch. That was probably this hotels biggest downfall. They really need a food court of some sort. I can't say enough about the location. It was the best. We ate at Spoodles (very good, one of the best of our trip) also did pizza at the Spoodles Window and Cape May. Also ate at the Bakery several times. That place is crazy. Very tiny and always a huge line no matter what time of the day or night. Oh well
We walked over to the BC one night and watched Toy Story on the beach. It was so awesome. They had a movie on the beach every night. They also have a fire and sell a "Smores Kit" for $7.00. Very cool.
We rented a family bike and made the loop twice for like $23.00. Fun Fun!! There is so much going on. We saw magic acts, jugglers, a traveling piano player, and a comedian.
We were on the dining plan and the Screen Door was the best. They let you get anything edible for under $4 using a snack credit. We got so much there...big bags of chips, big bottles of soda, dozen donuts etc.
We were there for two weeks and we did a lot including the Pirate and Princess Party and we were on the dining plan plus I am sure I am leaving stuff out, so feel free to ask lots of questions.
