Back from 1st trip ever

It was awesome. We had so much fun. Of course, there were some downsides. The dining plan was not enough food. I think it is designed for people who do not eat breakfast. We need 3 meals a day, especially with all that walking. Also, dining reservations are for the birds. Despite a reservation, you can wait an hour for a table. When you get in, servers are standing around talking, and half the tables are empty. Service was terrible evrywhere except the Grand Floridian Cafe. Walk up dining was impossible. Every walk up person we saw was turned away even though the restaurants were half full. Also, food is expensive, so tips are expensive. On average, we left $12-$20. So, it's kind of like paying anyway, and $12 at every meal cuts into the spending budget. Also, if you are super hungry, you cannot get into a restaurant. You just have to wait 2 hours until your reservation time. We did meet people who had several reservations for one day at assorted places and times. We had not done that. We got Photopass pictures, but they were all bad except 3. They take the pics so fast, and they aren't focussed on quality. So, my duaghter was looking away, had her eyes closed, etc. I did get a really good pic of her with Handy Manny, and I love it. My daughter loved the swimming pool at the resort, and extra magic hours were nice. We did the Halloween party, and that was fun. We got SO much candy and 25 boxes of raisins! We are all ready planning the trip for next year I think we'll stay longer. The trip went too fast! It was an amazing time though. I'll post pics next week.
