First the good. We loved the Fort! Spent a lot of time just exploring and taking in all the Fort has to offer. Lots and lots of walking. Rented a golf cart for one day so we could check out all the loops and camping set ups. Visited the stables to see the horses. Watched the water parade and fireworks from the beach. Got a Giddy up and Go for dinner one night and it was so good! Took several boat rides around Bay Lake to visit the other resorts. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Now for our complaints. We rented a pop-up from Fort Camper Rental and although it was ready when we got there, we were a bit disappointed in the condition of the camper. It was a bit beat up and we had some issues with bugs getting in some rather large gaps in the slide out. We taped them up and had no issues after that. It was fine for the small number of days we were there but would not have been happy for a longer stay. Fort Camper Rental was very nice to deal with and the Avengers theme was cute though. Also, the main pool was very crowded and I unfortunately heard a family in swimwear at the 1500 loop bus stop who were obviously local crashers. The mother told the kids that after they got their car up front they would stop for take out on the way home. One boy asked when they could come swimming again and the mom said they could come back a couple more times before school starts since they live close and it was free. I was disgusted since we paid to stay there and the pool was so packed we ended up at the cabin pool just so our DS had a bit of room to move. All in all we will be back in the future, hopefully in our own RV next time.

out of curiosity, what camper # did you rent? We're going to rent from them soon and they let you request which of their 5 campers you want. And it seems like there should be a pretty simple way (like checking magic bands) to keep pool crashers out.

I sure hope you stopped in at the Outpost/Office and said something about the pool crashers.

We had #4. We did stop at the Outpost and they said they have been getting lots of reports of pool crashers. They said they are hoping to get a fence and gate up like other resorts which require magic bands for entrance to help cut down on abuse.

Fort Camper's #5 is the newest I'm pretty sure (we rented it this past February when it was brand new, and will be renting the same unit again next February).
