Back fom Canada

Hi Minnie,

The question was asked but maybe I didn't understand....Could you tell me which nights each show was and what night Pirate Night was on...I'm printing out an itinerary and I'm trying to get as much info as possible. I hope someone posts their Navigator so I can get more details such as tastings and DVC and Castaway Cay reception.

Thanks, My DW and I can't wait till our trip to the Great White North in August...

Go to Guest Services as soon as you board (Deck 3). Everyone there, from ages 3 to 83, seemed to enjoy it.

That sounds wonderful, she would definitely love it!! Her Cinderella dress is all packed and ready so she can join in with the princesses. I have a lot to do at Guest Services!

They do stop offering excursion if they don't have enough interest. We wanted the disembarkation tour of NYC by Land & Sea (2 hr boat & 2 hr bus and they take you to the airport). It wasn't even in the printed port adventures guide when we got onboard. DCL should let people book this before they get onboard. They said that the early NY cruise did not have enough people interested in it so they dropped it for the inaugural cruise to Canda which made ZERO sense. Many people don't like to have things left unknown of how they're getting to the aiport.

We did the museum & Central Park tour. The Central Park & bus portion of the tour were great but going to the museum was POINTLESS. We had to wait for our group tickets. The museum is very hard to navigate b/c they make the group tours go in via the Rose & ? space center. The escalator the guide told us to take was not working. You were on your own for an hour & 15 minutes (which including making time to get your way back to the meeting point). Many people gave up trying to find what they wanted to see, had lunch on their own in the museum, & went back to the meeting point to be safe and not miss the bus. By wonderful enginerd DH steamrolled me through the museum finding many of the exhibits we wanted to see but having little time to really appreciate anything. I was exhausted & really disappointed we didn't get to do the land & sea tour.

I'm glad you were able to get a disembarkation tour but it is disappointing that they are dropping offerings. I am very anxious about not being able to get an offering when we are on our cruise and being stuck getting to the Newark airport 6 hours early because I have nothing to do with our luggage.

We ate at Topsiders, reported to Sessions, were taken off the ship together where our luggage was all together (we got special tags), & our bus tour started at 8:45, we got to the museum at 10:15, waited about 15 minutes for tickets, left museum about 11:55 & were dropped off at LGA by 12:30 so we still had a long wait until our flight. It wasn't worth it IMHO. But hopefully w/ feedback they will improve. If you are interested in the land & sea tour, try calling DCL to tell them. If enough people show interest, maybe they'll bring it back.

Minnie,

Thanks so much for the information. It will help in planning our itinerary.

What time should I arrange to be picked up? We'll have first breakfast.
