Anyone willing to share good or bad experiences with in-room babysitting services at WDW? I've got a few companies recommended, but would love any info the boards could provide.
Thanks in advance.

We used Kids Nite Out twice when DS was 2. They were incredibly professional and safety conscious. Because we used them twice in one trip, I asked for the same babysitter to come each night for consistency and they were able to make that happen. They are the only company endorsed by WDW, so the only one I would, personally, trust to use on property.

It was the top of my list already...hearing that you got same the sitter twice in 1 week actually is huge. Thanks for that detail!

We used KNO 4 separate days for our 6 month old twins last summer (2017). I trusted them because Disney endorses them - Disney essentially treats them as Disney employees even though they aren't. We were staying CL and Disney let them into the CL building to go to our room at the Poly. It worked out well for us, but there are some things to be aware of/watch for. Because we had 2 non walkers they required us to have 2 sitters, which is something they should note on their website. That was quite a surprise when I called to book! One thing I noticed is their management seems to be quite disorganized. We had them scheduled for a couple of long days, not just for a night out, and they didn't actually convey that to the sitters. The sitters would come expecting to be there for 4-5 hours, and find out we had booked for 12. So make sure you emphasize the hours you need if you use them, and I would ask them to make sure they tell the sitters the hours if I did it again. On one of the 4 days they sent a sitter we weren't comfortable with, and I did call and they were able to send a replacement after 4 hours and didn't charge us for that 4 hours. Thank goodness in that case we did have 2 sitters, because we wouldn't have left the kids with just her but we were ok because we loved the other one and it was her 4th day with us. We were going to use them again for our trip in June, but when I called to book I found out we had to be waitlisted for 4 of our 7 days (it was a 2 week trip, and they all weren't long days). I wasn't comfortable waiting, and actually we had made a contact with the sitter we had loved the previous year, so I got ahold of her myself and arranged for her to watch the twins. She was awesome! For our 4 days the year we used them we had one sitter come every day, and a different second sitter every day. So a total of 5 people, and 4 of them were great. 3 of them I would classify as Grandmotherly type, and 2 as motherly type. They were great for our babies, I think the older kids would have been better with a younger sitter who planned more activities/was more active with them (but we hired them for the younger kids, not the older ones, so it worked out well).

We used Kids Nite Out during all 3 of our trips (2008, 2011, & June 2018). Two were at WDW hotels and the last one was at an off-site hotel. We would not hesitate to use them again. The sitters made sure the kids were entertained and fed. I did request a younger sitter, for this last time, so they could keep up with a very active 4 year old.
