Hey everyone! My DH and I will be at the All-Star Music in late August, and my Sister-in-law and family (DH and DS, 2-yrs-old) are joining us for 6 nights!! We're really excited about them staying at the ASMusic with us, and we were wondering if the All-Star Resorts have any kind of babysitting services?? It'll be the 4 of us and their 2-year-old son, so we wanted to go out a few nights with just the 4 adults and were trying to find any babysitting services....if there aren't any at the All-stars, which resort would have them, and how much are they?? Thanks in advance for any replies! :)

The Kids' club services at the resorts (only the deluxe resorts) have a minimum age of 4. However, in-room sitting can be arranged. We've used Kindercare & we (and our kids) love them. They're very personable & come with a bag of toys & games. Our kids generally are slow to take to new sitters, but they usually ask if she can come back.

The charge last year was $13.00 per hour with a 4 hr. minimum (the 1st 1/2 hour is for travel). If you use the official service (Kindercare, last year) you can have it billed to your room so you don't have to worry about cash.

I understand the official service has changed names, but the number for Kindercare is (or was) 407-827-5444.

I plan on staying at the GF. I am taking my DD (age 6). I would like to get out for a couple of nights. What type of babysitting service do they offer, and what is the rate?

Deb Wills website at http://www.wdwig.com/childfaq.htm has detailed information about all of the Disney resort's babysitting facilities and services.

The following was taken from information about the GF's babysitting services:

Mouseketeer Club - Children will enjoy a visit to the "Mousekeeter club "For a minimum stay of 2 hours or maximum of 4 hours, children may play video games, movies, games, and arts and crafts. The Mousketeer Club Cast interact with children during their visit.Pagers available to parents upon drop-off of children. Payment of pager deposit required. Children must be potty trained and ages 4-12.

Daily 4:30 - Midnight
Available to Grand Floridian Guests and Guests dining at the Grand Floridian; $8 per hour per child and includes a kiddy dinner.

I believe the "in-room babysitting" is through the same service for all of the WDW resorts. But, I'm sure your 6 year old would be much happier doing one of the "club" style sitting services.
