Does anyone know if disney has babysitting srervices and if so how much do they cost. The adults thought they might like a grown-ups night dinner one evening on our trip, but not sure how this would workout.

There are child care centers at the Deluxe resorts that are for kids ages 4-12. They generally operate in the evening, rates are per hour and include dinner. There are activities, crafts, games, videos & video games.

There are also several babysitting services that will come to your room.

More info can be found at: http://www.wdwinfo.com/Just_for_kids/childcare.htm

We used the Sandcastle Club, Cubs Den and Neverland Club when our kids were little. They loved their special night out and were not that pleased when we came to pick them up  Then they asked if they could go back the next night :rotfl2:

thanks so much. I will have to look into it. We are going with our daughters, their husbands and two lil graanddaughters. They will be 2 and daughters are as a little leary of leaving them alone.

We will be making use of the Neverland Club this upcomming trip. Once I told DD about it, she was thrilled, and now insists that we must take a few nights to ourselves!! This will be our first time using the service, and I am very excited to see how it is!!

Can you use the clubs at the Deluxe resorts if you are staying at Pop or would you have to call the in-room babysitting services for Pop?

DD is 12 and while they say it is up to 12 years old, I'm wondering if it is geared more for younger kids and she wouldn't like staying at one of the clubs. For that fact, she's probably not going to be too interested in having an in-room babysitter either. ;) IF we decide to do something on our own that is.

We used KidsNiteOut.com on our Jan trip for the two older children, 3 & 6 and took the baby with us. We don't EVER leave our children, even with relatives, so I was very nervous with leaving them with strangers. The Kids Nite Out people were very professional, pleasant and experienced. You choose the demographic you want to care/not care for your child. For example, they asked if I prefered a "grandmotherly" caregiver, a male caregiver, a college age caregiver, or a "motherly" caregiver, or if I was uncomfortable with any of those. I chose college age and she did really well.

It is worth checking into. At least go to their website. What convinced me was seeing that they actually provide services to conventions and trade shows, so if an attendee bought children, Kids Nite out would watch the children while the parent attended the conference/convention/show. Plus, they go through Disney training and are sanctioned by Disney.

HTH!
