Baby's first haircut- still a thing?

Is this still a special event? Do you have to book it in advance or can you just walk in? My boy twin is really in need (or course my girl twin has very little hair! lol).

still a thing! I booked at about 150 days out for our trip coming up in December. I called back in late September to see if I could change it, and they had nothing available for the days I was going to be at the MK. they do walk ups though, so if you want you could aways try going at opening

I had booked an appointment & then tried for weeks to change the day. I went at 5pm the day I was trying to change it to, waited 15 minutes and got in. Many other people were walk-ins when I was there.

I just got my 2 year old daughter's 1st haircut there a couple weeks ago. I had tried to book it about a month before and they said they had no reservations all week. We ended up doing a walk up about 9:30am (MK had opened up at 8am that day) and they said the walk up wait was 30-60 minutes and we did wait about 45 minutes. It includes a Mickey hat that says 1st haircut on the back and they pixie dusted her hair. It's a must do!
