Hi all! We'll be celebrating the baby's first birthday on our upcoming trip. Just wondering what worked best for those who those who have celebrated with their little one.:goodvibes

We're planning on character dining, of course. We're open to all suggestions and have eaten at the following in the past: O'Hana, Crystal Palace, LTT, Chef Mickey, Donald's @ AK, and PD @ H&V.

TIA!!!:goodvibes

We had DS's 1st bday at Crystal Palace and it was great. There were either 13 or 14 of us, including DS and everyone was able to choose what they wanted to eat. I also ordered a cake through the cake hotline that was very tasty and had pirate mickey on it.
Ultimately, as long as you realize that the party is way more for you than it is for the kid and just take it easy, it's great to spend it at Disney (and pretty stress free too).

We are about to celebrate our daughter's first birthday at WDW, too. :goodvibes So exciting!

Anyway! We've chosen to celebrate her special day with a morning/afternoon at the Magic Kingdom and dinner at Epcot - Garden Grill to be exact. She *loves* Mickey Mouse, Chip and Dale! This is the perfect restaurant for us. We like the fact that it is served family style and we really like the food here. It's also nice that it's not nearly as loud as Chef Mickey's!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time!:wizard:

I love Crystal Palace...wish it wasn't going to be closed while we are there. It would have been my first choice.:thumbsup2

We've never tried Garden Grill before..I will have to check the menu (the most important thing for DH;)).

Have an amazing time with your little girl too! Sounds like great minds think alike.:cool1:

Chef Mickeys for breakfast is tones of fun...Kids get a cupcake

1900 will give her a crown which is a special treat plus a cupcake

I would guess that LTT might be good too. It's also a pretty safe eating place for picky eaters
