All the guide books describe it in terms of two adults, 1 child. We will have 2 adults, 2 children of riding age, and 1 too small for many of the rides. Can one parent ride with child #1, then the other parent and child #2 ride (both times leaving someone to watch the youngest)? I'm thinking it must surely be OK, but haven't found any verification.

Also, as an alternative, can one parent ride with both #1 AND #2 on rides permitting 3 or more per seat, then parent swap giving both children two rounds on the ride?

Thanks in advance! I love coming here knowing someone will always have an answer! :goodvibes

Even better -

Both children tall enough to ride can ride with both parents even if they don't seat three if one of the children dosen't mind sitting alone. My best advice it to tell the CM at the attraction before you enter the line that you want to use child swap and find out how they handle it. The baby/child unable to ride must be with you so you can't leave to to do baby swap as everyone must enter the line together. Some rides have you all wait the line, first parent and older children ride and other parent and younger child wait at the exit and then switch allowing the older child to ride with both parents.

Most rides now give you a rider swap pass. The rider swap pass works like a fast pass and allows up to 3 people total to return to that attraction anytime that day so the second parent can ride. You still all enter the line and ask for baby swap. The CM will give you the pass and the parent riding second and the baby can then leave to do something else while the first party rides. I like the pass because the baby or child that dosen't meet the height requirement dosen't have to wait the lin for something he/she can't ride.
