Baby swap on Dinosaur

Has anyone recently done a baby swap on Dinosaur? From what I've been able to find through a search on these boards is that they basically give you a FP and both parents have to go through the pre show seperately (which seems like a waste of time to me). Can anyone confirm whether or not this is the current baby swap arrangement on this ride or if my husband and I can both go through the pre show portion together before making the switch.

ONe waits with baby outside or in the gift shop. the other parent MUST go through the pre-show...b/c of the review of the safety or something that is included.

We wanted to skip it a couple of months ago and was told we couldn't. Had to go back out and in through the FP line. They wouldn't allow us to wait together.

It only holds you up abotu 5-10 extra minutes.

When we went last year we took our DD with us through the show and then was directed into the gift shop for the swap. We went through the show at the same time with our DD, and then went into the line that is after the show. I hope that was explained ok...
