I posted this on the Disneyland forum but thought it made sense over here too. I searched for baby swap and got a lot of info but I'm still kind of confused as to WHERE you get the baby swap pass(at DLR). Do you wait with the rest of your party and then get it when you get to the front of the line or is there a CM you get it from at the entrance to the line? Thanks for your help!

It depends on the ride... ask the cast member as soon as you enter the ride...

For those with FAST PASS... they usually just give you a "baby swap fast pass", so that the 2nd half of your party doesn't have to wait as long in line...

Other rides have you wait in line TOGETHER as a family... and then do the swap RIGHT BEFORE you get on the ride...

We've had both situations... so just ask the cast member at the entrance of the line...

HTH!

Kind of OT but I was wondering, my ds9 is scared of lots of rides and we are going for the first time with 3 brothers and Mom too that love rides DH will do them but don't crazy about them. enjoys being with the kids. My question is can you do this baby swap with older kids and how does that work? I was reading in the UG and thought you all waited in line together and one waited to ride while the other parent stay with young child. After the ride was over the parents just switched and they got to ride next. But reading some of these posts I am not so sure anymore. I hope someone understands what I am saying because I am not sure I do :rotfl:

Thanks :confused3

I've heard that it's only for children who don't meet the height requirements but I've heard a couple people say they were allowed to do it with older children so I'm really not sure! This whole thing is new to me too!!! I guess you can always just ask the 1st CM you see at a ride and see what happens.
