We've named 7 kids (no twins). It's not easy, for sure. Especially when your dh keeps trying to find names having to do with the Marine Corps.
I love Riley! that was my pick for #2 (boy), but my brother beat me by 6ms. So, he ended up being Gage. Scroll down to #4...I wanted to name him Tucker, but we didn't tell anyone for fear of comments. Turns out everyone loved it! #6...we named Ryder b/c I still like Riley but couldn't use it. Ryder was close to Riley. LOL!
I agree on the name cadence. That's important to me too and something I paid attention to when picking names.
I love the name Riley Flynn over Chase. Love Quinn! Not really crazy about Kennedy (too popular) or Aurora, but like you said, this is YOUR baby. if you love it, don't worry about what others say. After #3, we stopped telling names until birth b/c of comments from people. Well, that and bc we didn't make a decision until then. Ryder was "Number Six" until he was 12hrs old.
I like the way Aurora Quinn flows better, but one word of caution...2 of my siblings go by their middle name and are forever having to correct people bc society in general calls out a first name, not the middle. So, think about that too.
What about Merida? (the new Brave princess) or Jessie? but that's not very feminine. Maybe Jessie Quinn? I think I like Aurora better, though. Can't wait to hear what you decide! twins! how exciting!!
