Our friends have decided on Avery for a girl name... trying to decide on a middle name to go with it... their last name is W...... - 4 syllables, Polish.

so far, these work:

Avery Madison
Avery Liane (pronounced Lee-Ann)
Avery Nicole

Any other ideas? Thanks!

My oldest son is named Avery, so I prefer this name on a boy......but my ideas are:

Avery Brynn
Avery Breanne
Avery Elizabeth
Avery Isabella

Avery Nicole is cute :)
Avery Grace
Avery Rose
Avery Beth
Avery Lynn
Avery Anne

I think I like Avery Grace or Avery Anne. Or maybe Avery Rose. I just think that if the first name is three syllables and the last name is four, it might be good to have a short, one-syllable middle name. :)

I want to say. .

Avery Mae.
::yes:: Avery Rose.
::yes:: Avery Lynne.
Avery Theresa.

(A bit far-fetched here: Avery Belle.)

Of those, I like Avery Liane. I would go with something girly since Avery is technically a boy's name.

I like:

Avery Adele
Avery Charlotte
Avery Camille
Avery Grace
Avery Isadora
Avery Lenore
Avery Tamsin
Avery Violet

As long as they like the combination, I wouldn't worry about how it sounds with the last name - very few "American" first names blend very well with really Polish last names. I know - my maiden name was a doozy of a Polish name. As my Mom once said to me- "You're lucky - you'll only have to deal with the last name for a minimum of 18 years. I've been living with this name for many years & I will die with this name! Do yourself a favor -be sure to marry a man with a shorter non Polish name - preferable at the begining to middle of the alphabet!" :cool1: (btw - I did, not intentionally, but it worked out that way - twice! :rotfl:& for the record - Mom was right about herself, my parents have been married for 40 years & they are still going just as strong today as they did when they got married )."

The other thing she told me - I gave you a really short first name & middle name because I was thinking of when you were in school learning to read & write. If I gave you a name like Stephanie or Jennifer, you wouldn't have enough room to fit your whole name. Also, I knew it would be hard enough to learn how to spell your last name, I didn't want to put the same burden on you with your first name.

Avery Rose,
Avery Michelle
Avery Grace
Avery Marie
Avery Raine

My DD is Avery Marie. In your friends case, I'd go with a one syllable middle name. It sounds like her name is going to be pretty wordy as it is. I think Avery Laine would be cute.

I like Avery Madison with all the syllables in the last name.

Avery Jayne. I also like a short name with a long name.

Hmm... that's a toughie. My name is Leigh Anne but my oldest DD's middle name is Nicole. :thumbsup2 That being said, I tend to like one syllable middle names especially with a longer last name (my other 2 DD's middle names are Paige and Brooke). In the end, I'll vote for Nicole.

My daughter's name is Avery Dawn

we dont find a lot of people with that name

I love it and we get lots of compliments on it
