Does this stroller fit through park entrance gate? What about hotel room doorway?
How easy is it to push with only 1 kid in it? Does the inbalence of weight throw things off?

I'm interested to know, too. We are considering renting one from OSR, and I was curious to know how hard they are to handle on the busses.

By the way, I have a City Mini single and its a great stoller. Really easy to steer and fold, and my DD loves riding in it. I'm sure the double is the same quality, but I'm worried about the size.

We have a BJCM - single and have taken it to Disney twice without issue. Strollers generally do not go through the entrance gates like a walking person but go through the entrance that is accessible for those in wheelchairs etc. so it's not a problem.

We also do not have a problem on buses other than it's clunky and can take up some space - but all strollers do that!

As for the recall we already have our replacement parts and had no issue getting them installed.

We have rented the double; it went through the stroller gate with no problems, was super easy to maneuver even with just one kiddo; we left it in the car at night, but because we use it as a wheelchair in the parks, we take into buildings there and we can get in a single door no problem.
HTH.

Also about the recall, I've been in contact with OSR, if anyone is wondering, and they are already dealing with the recalled part. It was just a strap or something :-)

They will open the handicapped gate for you to go through-no problem at all. It fit through our room doorway with no problem.

Sometimes I push my 5yr old and my 1yr old, and I can't tell the difference in weight at all.

Great stroller!! (wish it stayed closed better, though)

Best stroller in the world! I found only one doorway in WDW that it didn't fit through. It was a baby clothing store at Downtown Disney. And I agree with the PP, my only complain is that I wish there was a hook or strap that held it closed. Still wouldn't stop me from buying it, though, if my kids were just a little younger. :-)

Oh and the weight isn't thrown off at all with one child in and one child out.

Loved ours at WDW. To fix the staying together issue we bought a cheap luggage strap at Walmart and used that for on the plane, when we were on the buses, DH held it and I had the girls.

I think there is a black velcro strap that hold's it together when it's folded, it's around the frame at the bottom from memory Took us a while to find it!:goodvibes

all of the mini's have a way to hold them closed it varies by year model mine is an 07 it has a very small latch that you have to look for for it to lock the newer models now have a strap that velcros the stroller shut.

as for the recall it is the buckle that has been recalled apparently they can be opened/broken by older children.

Yes that's right. The harness buckle is the one that they've found that when it's tugged it can open on it's own. it affects strollers purchased from 07 to July '09. :-)
