Hey!! I'm here now!! :goodvibes

I LOVE the pic of Parker on the Colts field. I'm jealous. I want some of Landon at Mile-High Stadium!! I may have missed it, but how come you had a tour at the Colts stadium? Are you Colts fans too or was it just the one you had an opportunity at? Because you are a Bears fan and live in Chicago too right? Sorry if I'm just silly and missed a detail somewhere! :goodvibes

All the pics of Parker are so cute!! He is just so adorable!! And Candi is gorgeous! You guys have such a photogenic family, you all are!!

Dan,

Thanks for checking in on my PTR. It gets a bit crazy on my PTR, but it's fun getting to know new folks and keeping up with the oldtimers. I guess I can call us oldtimers now.

no i might have confused you some, candi is a big colts fan, i dont mind them, i cheered for them while in college, went to school close to them.

once they built the new stadium they were offereing tours of it so my parents took us down there for the day and we hung out in indy, and toured the stadium it was very impressive.

i really want to tour the bears stadium but have not done that yet.

actually we live in NW indiana, just across the boarder from illinios

thanks for the nice words about candi and parker, i think candi is pretty good looking as well, i married up.

Oh okay, so Candi is the Colts fan! They are doing very good this year!! I actually do like them, just when they aren't playing the Broncos! I would also like them to lose, along with the Saints, so we can be the only undefeated team. :rotfl: That's so cool though!!

Do you guys have season tickets or anything? A guy I work with has club level season tickets and he got this invite to go trick or treating on the Broncos field and apparently, it was supposed to be set up right on the field and a bunch of players and stuff were out. I was just green with envy!! That would be so awesome!! I don't know if it got cancelled though because of our HUGE blizzard!

yeah the colts have a little history on running undeffeated to start the season

nope no season tickets, they are very pricey for seat licenses around here. almost more than houses cost just for the rights to buy the season tickets

we used to go to a ton of games, with my uncle he works for a company that walter payton co owns, so we woudl really tailgate in style food tables about 50 feet long on the sides of motor homes.

private lots and the whole nine yards.

those are harder to come by now, we do get to go to races at the indy 500 they have a suit there as well with that company, they even have a few racers on there crew, meet 2 of them last year, and got down in the pits during the time trials, and the garages that was very neat.

hoping we can go again next year.

How fun!! Season tickets are pretty expensive here too. There's about a 15 year waiting list. :sad2: I'm on it since I hope that I'll be able to afford tickets by then!

Its always fun going to sports events! Football is the only sport I like all the time (like on tv), but I like going to other sporting events. I bet a race would be soooooo fun! :upsidedow

They are going really well. If you have time check out my PTR. Are you guys doing the dining plan? My coplanner and SIL and I are trying to work out where we want to eat. Have you and Candi stayed at CBR?

we stayed at CBR on our honeymoon and loved it the food court is awesome there for CS meals, they have so many options and hte food was really good as well.

make sure you get some of the fruit slushy drink things they have there, they count as your drinkn on the dinning plan, well at least they did.

we had a building somewhat far from the dinning area, so it was a little walk, but still fun, seemed like you were in the carribean walking ther eso that was not bad at all.

but if being close to the food court is important, then you should try and ask for a builcing over there.

Been a while since i posted some pics so there will be some different events with these next ones.

First is our last fall camping trip

There was about 14 of us on this trip 2 weeks ago.

It was at a local state park they have tons of trails with canyons and water rushing through them ladders to climb and the whole get up.

without futher adu.

Heading down to the trails

The first day was a long hike, here is parker after we were done
DSC09544.jpg

Now i did not have my camera out for the middle part of it which is the most exciting portion of the trail, but candi parker and i did come here this summer and here is a few videos of it when were there .

you climb up those ladders, and the water fall that is coming down in the second one, you have toclimb down that to go on the trail.

the next day, candi parker and I went off on our own for the first part of the morning, that little guy walked about 1 mile on his own to start with.

Here he is walking up the side of a trail with me

DSC09558.jpg

After that first mile his little legs were tired, so he stopped for a snack of juice and fritos. MMMMM
DSC09562.jpg

then he got loaded up into that carrier on my back and rode the rest of the way.

Farther down the trail we get into the side of a canyon, those bolders are even bigger in person.

DSC09568.jpg

Here is another shot to kind of see the size of this.

DSC09569.jpg

They had campground trick or treating the next night, it was a little cold, but still nice out, parker got a big haul, almost a full grocery back full, there were tons of displays and haunted sites for people to go through, and it was all free.

Coming up more of our halloween activities.

Dan I still can't get over how big Parker is getting. The hikes look like fun & those rocks are huge!!!! Can't wait to see more.

Halloween pictures time now.

First off, picking out our pumpkins at a local apple orchard.

Parker loved this place.

looking for the perfect pumpkin
DSC09511.jpg

this is a good one daddy
DSC09515.jpg

parker had a blast playing in the little houes.
DSC09516.jpg

Here we are carving them, we would hold up shapes and he would pick out what he wanted for each body part, even picking out big or small sizes.
DSC09527.jpg

then he got to paint 2 pumpkins himself
DSC09525.jpg

here is the second pumpkin he is painting
DSC09529.jpg

the painting of parker
DSC09528.jpg

and this is my favorite picture of him.
he had paint in his hair, ear, nipples, arms everywhere
haha

our finished carvings

Now it is trick or treating time.

we went over to my grandmas house and my parents and all the neighbors over there in the morning,

he we are at my grandmas house,
DSC09579.jpg

then our downtown square had trick or treating at all the stores, so we took parker there for the afternoon

he loved going in all the stores.
DSC09591.jpg

hereis our town square old courthouse
DSC09592.jpg

candis parents joined us for this, and then parker went home and took his nap after a lunch at mcdonalds, and got rested up for trick or treating around our house.

it was cold and he started out walking.
DSC09595.jpg

but then he ended up riding in the stroller, went faster and was warmer for h im.

he just held his bucket for people to load up, we did not go to that many houses, but he filled that thing up three times.

DSC09597.jpg

DSC09596.jpg

it was a really fun day and parker enjoyed it also.

sorry there are not more costum pics, but it was too cold for him to wear just that.
