Yes, but it lasts longer...like by HOURS! Epidurals really slow down the labor a lot. I'd rather get it over with quick. But, that was just me. I guess after being in labor with Shane for almost 24 hours, I didn't want it to last much longer so I opted for no drugs. Actually, the pain putting the epidural in wasn't worth the small amount of pain it took away. Just my opinion.

Ooooh, during the prenatal classes dh & I took when I was pregnant with our first son, they showed us the needle they use for an epidural Needless to say, I had no drugs with either labour or delivery with our boys More afraid of that needle than the agony

that is a very large needle, then they put that plastic thing over hte needle and more toward the spin, no thank you mam.

I'm so with Tat on the no drugs thing.

I've been on both sides of it too and it is so much better without. Just get it over with!

Okay so i got my Wii last night, and i love it.


I played all night and I even let DW play a few games while i held parker.

He slept great last night.

woke up at 245 and then again at 530..thats my boy, he is getting better.

DW said watching me play Wii at 300 in the morning is more entertaining than watching TV, and I helped to keep her up while feeding Parker.

See hunny, i told you that the Wii would be an immediate return on our investment.

He slept great last night.

woke up at 245 and then again at 530..thats my boy, he is getting better.

DW said watching me play Wii at 300 in the morning is more entertaining than watching TV, and I helped to keep her up while feeding Parker.

See hunny, i told you that the Wii would be an immediate return on our investment.

Hehe... we just bought one on Sunday. Love it! Although my arm was a little sore yesterday - I was really struggling to pick up DD!

Yep it is great, all of hte stores were sold out except for Toys r US...they had over 50 consols, and tons of mario kart...i guess no one thinks to go to a store that says toys in the title to buy there games.

Did you guys get mario kart?? its so much fun!

picked up mario kart last night, with 2 wheels so i can play Candi.

I payed for mine by selling some stuff that i dont use anymore.

It was a good way to get DW on my side, i get ride of stuff that I dont use anymore, and also made DW happy, plus got my Wii.
