Baby elephant at AK

Can you see the newborn elephant in Animal Kingdom? I saw his pictures on your site and he looks adorable. My daughter is an animal lover, especially baby animals and this would be a real thrill for her to see him.

I had read in other threads that the baby had died. Can someone post a link to the pictures?

If I'm not mistaken this is another baby.

The elephant that was scheduled to have a baby at the beginning of May had a miscarrage. We talked to one of the CM's at Conservation Station at the end of April and he said that she had lost the baby.

I don't know about a name but his birth weight was 269 pounds. They had pix of him in the "Slantinel" but I cannot loacate them.

We just got back from WDW tonight. We were at Animal Kingdom yesterday, and castmembers said the elephant was doing fine, he just wasn't ready to be shown yet. They do have a video of him they show at Conservation Station, but we ran out of time, so we didn't see it.
