Hi everyone! I was wondering what kind of baby ear muffs you recommend- I'm wanting to get some for our trip and want our baby's ears protected from the fireworks so she doesn't become scared of them. Thanks!!!
If you are wanting something to protect her hearing I would suggest getting true ear plugs. I got some from Target that are the orange putty kind that can be used for sound and water protection. They stay in just fine.
I've tried those Orange ear plugs but didn't really like them and I was thinking more of getting DD ear muffs than individual plugs because of the swallowing issue. I did a little more research and it seems that Piltor Baby Ear Muffs are pretty popular... do you agree??? Thanks
I got some of the Peltor Kid earmuffs and they seem like they will do the job just fine. Here are the ones I got: http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/product/Peltor-Kid-Earmuffs.html . I was upet at first, because I thought theu wouldn't adjust, but then I figured out that instead of lengthening from the center top, they lengthen from the sides where they connect to the earmuffs themselves (does that make sense?) Just a tip, in case you get them. They look like they would work for an infant up to an older child - even I can wear them, and I'm 5'9"! Good luck!
