What are the baby changing facilities like on VA flights. Do they have the fold down changing table? DS (9months) is such a wriggler at the moment when trying to change him I bet he will be worse at 14 months when we travel :teeth: I dread having to change him in those small toilets! :teeth:

Yes they do, long time since I had to use them though ;)

You will probably find there is just one toilet suitable for this, may depend on which aircraft you are on where it is located.

\Don't know about VA, but on thomson they had fold down ones. Not much room in those loos though! :teeth:

Yes VA do have changing facilities aboard their flights a drop down shelf. As this is in the main toilet there is not much room to move around. It can be quite hard juggling closing the toilet door behind you a baby in your arms and dropping the shelf down. Have fun!! :cool1:

It is normally in the one toilet, my advice is to leave the door open so you don't feel too claustrophobic and you can leave yourself some room to move around as it is very tight. My DS is now 3 1/2 so thankfully we no longer have to use this facility but I still end up pulling his pants and trousers up by the nearest seats outside the loo :rotfl:

Last VA flight I was on a woman sitting in the seats in the front row actually used the fold out shelf they have infront of those seats to change the baby rather than go to the toilet.

Not that I am suggesting you do that :confused3

If its just a "wetty" then I would have no hesitation about using the shelf for the sky cot to change. Once the table is folded down in the loo (and with me not exactly Twiggy sized ;) ) its a real squeeze. I would use it for No. 2s but not for just a wet one!

Oh, that is foul (for the passengers in the area)...

Thanks guys got all the replies! Think I will use the toilets rather than the skycot shelf though! :teeth:
