Has anyone actually purchased the products or used the services? I know what they are supposed to have and I was in them a few years ago but only changed my DD's diaper at the time. I am specifically wondering about the diapers they have. I'm not concerned with the brand so much as the sizes.
I am a paranoid mom and fear that if I run out of diapers, they won't have the size I need. Do they really always have all sizes?? Sorry, I am a skeptic by nature. Also, how do you warm a bottle there? I use the bottles with disposable liners that cannot be microwaved. At home I drop the bottle in a mug of hot water to warm it. Any experiences that you can share??

The diapers were huggies, and I only recall seeing size M, which seemed to be similar to a size 3. I brought breastmilk to the parks for my son's cereal, and I used the paper bowls they had to heat up water in the microwave to warm up the bottles. In December, I did have to buy some pedialyte...I also noticed on our February trip, that for baby food they didn't have any stage 1 stuff, just rice cereal and stage 2 and up on the jarred food. We really liked using the baby centers in all the parks though!

I remember seeing at least three different sizes of Huggies when I was "shopping" at the MK Baby Care Center. I forgot Russ' binkie at the hotel and had to buy a new one - we were at the Halloween Party and he never would have made it without a bink! The Baby Care Center had the Nuk, but it was complete opposite he used, latex instead of silicone, 6+ month size instead of newborn size. (Yes, my 2.5 year old still used a newborn bink. He's a weird one.) Luckily he was old enough that we could make a huge deal out of it being a special binkie from Mickey. He loved it and now calls it "my Disney World binkie." (Yes, I know... We need to ditch the binkie if it has a name!)

Anyway, the point is, try to bring everything you think you'll need because they have a fairly limited selection and you won't always be able to convince a kid that Mickey gave you the binkie!

I'm sorry I don't have exact answers but I've been to all the baby care centers and they were so nice at every one of them...I'm sure they'd be happy to accomodate your bottle warming needs because so many people will not use a microwave to warm a bottle anyway. Especially if they are bringing breastmilk. If by any chance, they don't have a mug there to use, I'm sure any restaurant would be happy to give you a cup of hot water (like they use for tea)

I never ran out of diapers so I never had to buy some at the center so I can't help you out with sizing.

They had a very limited supply of diapers. Strange sizes S, M, L Some packs that had wipes and diaper cream and like 3 diapers. Mostly convience style packaging. One serving formula pack. Baby Meds. Tylenol ect.
As far as heating bottles. They have BIG signs on the Microwaves saying that
bottle warming is not allowed ! They have big pots of hot water on the stove
ready to use to heat them. I alway use a microwave at home but didn't there.
It was nice using a real changing table instead of the rest room ones sometimes for BIGGER messes.

I have found the best formula for travel is the powdered ones... Just use faucet water at lukewarm and add the powder... all my kids have been happy with that... then don't have to worry about heating and such.

This Oct tho, will be my first trip having to utilize the baby centers.. so hope all goes well :)

I will also at this. I have babies that also use the disposable liners. I just brought 1 for my 1 year old & 2 for my 6 month old. My 1 year old only takes a bottle in the evenings & sometimes in the morning, but of course the 2nd day lost his bottle. We couldn't find one anything like it anywhere! We ended up buying 1 of the bottle from the baby care center, but my son didn't want anything to do with it. So, just make sure you are prepared.

They are very handy to have around though, I will give them that.

The only baby care center that still uses a stove to heat a pan of water for bottles is the MK, and the one burner that still worked was a joke in December. There are water jugs in each center that has *HOT* water that could be used for heating bottles, along with paper bowls....which logic will tell you does not work well at all. I can't stand the taste of WDW water, so I would always use bottled water for DS's formula. If your baby will drink a cold bottle (or depending when you are going and leave the bottle of water in the sun to warm) you are good. If not, I would bring a large plastic cup to fill with hot tap water or water from the water jug to heat your own bottle.

Oddly enough, even though the signs clearly state NOT to heat bottles in the microwave, the kind CM in Epcots baby center, nicely suggested I use it to heat sons bottle in!:confused3

The centers sell everything from socks to bibs to onsies, basic first aid items (we bought hydocoritsone) to eyeglass repair kits, Nestle Good Start and Huggies and Gerber stage 2-3 foods.

The baby care centers also have those stand-alone drinking water dispensers with two handles, one for hot water and one for cold water. It seems like you'd be able to heat a bottle that way (bring an empty cup, fill with hot water and set the bottle in it).

I visited all four baby centers last week and to my recollection the only sized diaper not available was XL. Everything else was very well stocked. You may have to ask---some of the places display things better than others.

We were able to buy a package of Huggies in the resort gift shop as well, they had a couple of packs of each size, as far as I noticed.

The baby care center at AK was the only place I was able to find a package of tissues last Feb, oddly enough.
