One of my DD's who will turn 2 in Feb has a feeding tube. She has a feeding pump that has a rechargeable battery. I'm working on a backpack to carry her pump in and some sort of hook to hang the pouch with the Pediasure in it so that we can feed her more easily while we are on outtings.

Since the pump battery is rechargeable there is the chance that it may run low while we are in the WDW parks. Would the Baby Care Centers be accomodating enough to let us go there and plug the pump in and feed her if we needed to do that?

I don't know the answer for sure, but I'm GUESSING this will be no problem at all. I'm going to leave this thread here, but I'm also going to copy it over to the disABILITIES board as they may have more experience and better insights for you. Look there for answers, too! :)

Thanks, cleo! :goodvibes

i can't imagine that they would have a problem with it. the folks at the child care centers in the parks are always so very nice and accomodating.

i am sure the folks on the disABILITIES boards will be better versed in advising you, but definately stop at guest services at the front of each park and i am sure they would give you a pass to allow you to use these facilities (in case there would be any question from the CM working at the child care centers, which i seriously doubt.)

heck - if the camera center at the front of each park will charge your rechargable battery for your camera or videocamera, i would certainly hope that WDW would charge something so much more vital and important for your family.

i am sure there may be some other accomodations they might be able to provide you as well to make your trip as smooth as possible.

happy planning and i hope your daugher (and the rest of your family) has a magical vacation.

The baby care centers are very accomidating and will help you with just about anything, except changing diapers though :teeth: . They usually aren't that busy and the staff goes out of their way to make the kids feel welcome.
