Ok, I admit it, I don't have a baby book for either kid. They are 5 and a half and almost 2. Well, I physically have one for the first, but not much is written in it. Is that so terrible? Tell me please I am not alone! I feel very guilty about not having them...

I not only have their baby books filled out I also have school books that hold the school picture, height and weight of each child when school starts. This book holds there report cards, etc.

I have a dd (8) and a ds (11).

I love pictures too so I have a book that has 8X10 pictures of them each on their birthday, Christmas and of course their school picture.

I must have a sickness. :lmao:

I don't have them for my kids either. But then again, I knew that I wouldn't do it - even though like you I have a physical book for my DD.

I did however manage to take a picture of my DD every week for the first year and I have those pictures in a small album. I tried to capture her latest "thing" each week so I can look back and see when she first smiled or rolled over. She loves to look at her book and is helping me make one for her brother.

I have one. But there isn't much in it because she isn't born yet! I'll have to get back to you on that one. :rotfl:

1st DD's, is much more complete than the 2nd.

One thing I did do though. For each of the girls first 2 years. We had calenders, in their rooms. Each night we would write what we did, or what they did as they got their jammies on. They are great keepsakes.:lovestruc

I have them for the kids, they are sort of filled out. I do have a 1st year calendar for all of the kids that I would write in what they did on various days. For DS16 I had it on the wall in his room and wrote in it fairly frequently but for the twins I put them on my nightstand and would write in them before bed. Those are much more complete. I haven't looked at them in a long time but it is fun doing that every once in a while.

I was the sixth of six kids in our family. My mom did books for the first five, but I got one sheet of paper that she wrote a few milestones. It's a big joke in our family, and I'm over it, but it made me determined to fill out the books for all of my kids. When you're in the middle of the no sleep years, it's hard to find the time or energy to write it down, but it's fun to look back on.

I have books for both girls, however I do scrapbooking and that's where I tend to record most of their info so their baby books aren't very filled at present.

ummm yes and then some...I am a scrapper so I have for both kids those preganancy calendars, then the baby books that people gave me....Then I have a very detailed scrapbook of my son's first year. I have all the stuff for my daughter's but haven't had time.....
I also have a scouts, school and sports scrapbook for each kid....I try to do a our major trips but am several trips behind.....

do I think you are terrible? NOPE! Everyone keeps, does and saves what they want! I wouldn't worry about it if it isn't something that interests you!

That is the thing..I would like to have this info..I have no idea why I haven't kept better track....I wish I would have. I am going to start the calendar thing in each of their rooms. I have tons of pics to remember stuff by.
