Nothing terribly exciting. Though DD turns 13 on Saturday. I'm sure that will be fun and depressing all at the same time.

Yeah, it's a mixed emotion kind of time for sure. Just hang on, is all I can say.....

...wasting away behind a 'puter screen, and then being bombarded for not finishing SOONER??!?

Uh...... well, ok.

I despise Monday.

I had training all day and I received my school assignment for the year.

In the last 2 years, I've gone from helping kids graduate 3/476 and 5/480 to FIRST GRADERS...

I'm at a total loss.

Wow, that's a big change! On the one hand, you must be fairly well-rounded in your teaching experience/education. But, in another way it'll be like starting all over!! At least they're still fresh and impressionable!

We have many students that need assistance with supplies and we need to fill our closet. Any student that needs help gets it through private donations (that are running thin). Target's promise for education will greatly help our kids!

In our house we're officially out of elementary school this year. Two in middle and one in hs. It'll be weird not having all those elementary-school activities and such to be involved in!

What a waste of oxygen...

Only 3 out of 8 of us are happy with our assignment and they aren't willing to move ANY of us until the principal has had adequate time to "evaluate" us in our positions.

It was also inferred that I was being a crybaby, irrational, unreasonable, and not a team player...

14 hours of &*%! down and 1246 to go.

I have no where to put my affects, no room to get away from anyone, no support from the office, and anyone who can take a whizz in my direction, they will.

And at the end of today... I got snotted on.
