Well I'm not sure how I feel about that either.....that's MEAN QUEEN'S role!! They are clearly miscasting here!

:rotfl::lmao:

Okay.. I totally snort-laughed!

I heard on the news last night they are predicting $4.25/gal. gas by Memorial Day....:sad2:

.
Ours was $4.25 last week... It just now dropped below $4 to $3.97 today. Gee... thanks for the break!

Oh, and I forgot to weigh in on Angelina Jolie getting my role. I can actually see her doing well in the role, though I would be more natural a choice. :maleficen

I just paid $3.82 for regular. Considering I have a tank, that was a good find. I've been driving around without my a/c on to avoid wasting gas. Last time gas got this high, I didn't have my Armada so it didn't hurt as bad. But that's what I get for buying a bus.

Actually, MythBusters did a show on this once and proved you use more gas by driving around with your windows open!....once you open the windows, you reduce the smooth airflow around the vehicle (think of those wind-tunnel ads you've probably seen!). Running the a/c in the car doesn't suck up more gas, esp. with today's newer compressors.

Thought you might like to know.

And this concludes your Fun Geek Fact of the day....:upsidedow

Morning nanners! Happy Winds-day!....

DH told me last night that he's got some overtime on Saturday!! Let's hope it comes through. If it does, he can put in a full day at time and a half pay. His company is finally in the process of moving to the new building and they've got equipment to move and set up on the weekends, over the next several weeks. If he can get this, and I can start working full weeks again, that is a HUGE answer to prayer for us.

Just another quick drop by to say hello.... I haven't completely dropped off the face of the earth... just need to deal with a few things, and of course been busy with the kids and Easter, etc. spent a week in SF california.. but not a vacation.. definitely not a vacation and I got a horrible head cold on top of it while I was there. Got back day before Easter and now have to plan return trip to finish phase II of what I started out there. I don't mind the travel.. but I wish it was to Florida and a vacation... not work related.

So how've you all been... sounds like you're all dealing with an issue or two as well... I wish we could make it all go away and just all be able to plan a worry free trip to Disney. Hugs to all... hang in there,,, the warmer weather IS coming... pretty soon we'll all be sweating out butts off... can't wait.

:flower3:

I love the MythBusters! And I now will turn my a/c on when driving around. Though I still plan to turn the car off and roll down the windows for as long as I can stand while waiting in car line at school.

Good luck to your DH getting OT! Life is so much better when you aren't constantly stressed about money. At least, I imagine it is.

I saw that, too.

The ex had to have his Aortic Valve replaced on Tuesday. DD didn't get to see him over the weekend since he went into the hospital Thursday. As far as I know he's doing fine.

That's a super scary surgery.

For DD's case - hope he's doing okay.

You guys would appreciate this:

I figured out a way to get the entirety of a Walmart to get out of my way:

Yesterday, I walked through Walmart with chocolate, a bottle of red wine, and a box of tampons.

Cashier decided he'd go ahead and take me even though he was planning to close.

Heck yeah!....I'll take it! At least I'm queen of something! :lmao:

PAmom: My thoughts and prayers to your ex.

Gosh, I hope the tag fairy doesn't grab that one. . .

:rotfl: Oh but it would be perfect!!!

Morning!! Happy FRIDAY!!!

I'm actually going to work today, making this a full 5-day week! Never thought I'd be so excited about NOT having days off.

Weather's warming right up starting today, might reach 80 on Sunday. Nice.

Have a good one y'all!

:rotfl2: Next time I'll have to add the bottle of wine. I had to get for DD12 a big box of Midol and 2 packs of pretzel M&M's yesterday. The fun of being female. And I would love to see that as a new tag for you.
