Yeah, unemployment is not enough to pay the bills. The few hours I work don't help much either. Yay for taxes coming to the rescue.
I don't get unemployment because I get a 'letter of assurance' stating that there will be job for me come the start of the next school year. It may not be the same job, but it'll be a job.

....I spent the day at my sister-in-law's house, with 3 of her 4 daughters. We made 61 hand-made baby shower invitations for her other daughter....
Wow. Very productive and artsy.
I spent the day trying to color my DD's hair again. The teal had washed out to a very light green. She wanted purple. I told her we needed to re-bleach the parts she wanted colored, but she didn't want to do it after the reaction she had last time. Needless to say, the color didn't turn out great. The first time it came out a silvery gray with a slight lilac tint and hints of the old green. After doing it a second time, it's more of a dark purple with hints of the silvery gray lilac and a teeny bit of the green. Next time, I'm bleaching it first. But hey, she has to live with the results of not listening to her mother's advice.![]()
