Yeah, unemployment is not enough to pay the bills. The few hours I work don't help much either. Yay for taxes coming to the rescue.

I don't get unemployment because I get a 'letter of assurance' stating that there will be job for me come the start of the next school year. It may not be the same job, but it'll be a job.

I hope there is a job waiting for you.

I hate those letters. :sad2:

What a productive day today! ::yes::

Went to celebrate D-neph's birthday, took the kids shopping and bought Easter clothes and shoes, then got 2 new fish for our fish tank. I also bought myself a ceramic-lined 8 quart mini stock pot.

It rocks.

....I spent the day at my sister-in-law's house, with 3 of her 4 daughters. We made 61 hand-made baby shower invitations for her other daughter....

Wow. Very productive and artsy.

I spent the day trying to color my DD's hair again. The teal had washed out to a very light green. She wanted purple. I told her we needed to re-bleach the parts she wanted colored, but she didn't want to do it after the reaction she had last time. Needless to say, the color didn't turn out great. The first time it came out a silvery gray with a slight lilac tint and hints of the old green. After doing it a second time, it's more of a dark purple with hints of the silvery gray lilac and a teeny bit of the green. Next time, I'm bleaching it first. But hey, she has to live with the results of not listening to her mother's advice. :snooty:

...sounds like my 90-year-old Aunt Myrtle, who lives in Miami and wears a fur in summer...

Morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Morning Aunt Myrtle. :goodvibes

Mean Queen...... Your DDs hair still sounds like it turned out to be a neat color. But I agree.....she needs to listen to her mother. :thumbsup2

Morning nanners!

Heading up into the 60s here today!!! I'll take it.

No work for me today. :headache: Waiting for fabric to come in, due tomorrow, and then we'll be quite busy. Oh well I intend to enjoy my nice weather at least!

My daughter is having hair issues due to her not listening to her mother as well. :lmao:

No work for me today either. She thought her husband was working today (Monday is his normal day off) and would need me. I asked her to text me and let me know, but I never heard from her. Guess that means I am not working. She also thought her mother would come on Tues. That only leaves me Wed and Thurs this week. :headache:
