Happy Friday all! I keep trying to find a way to get myself up to the World this weekend, but DH told everyone to come over for a pool party tomorrow so that doesn't seem likely.

Kimmar - that fridge alone is a dream! It's so big and could hold so much stuff (and it's pretty to boot.)....

...you don't know the HALF of it. My other fridge was pretty full, so when I started transferring the stuff from one to the other, the new one hardly looked like it had anything IN it! I had to go food shopping so it didn't appear so empty!

Plus, it originally was $2,100 at Lowe's, but the doors were off-kilter and there were alot of scratches on it, so it was in the 'Clearance' section. We wound up paying $945 for it - needless to say, my DH fixed the doors and he used WD40 to eliminate the scratches!

Great deal! When I got my fridge, at first I was amazed at how much room it had, then I was amazed at how quick it filled up again. I need one the size of your fridge!

Wow, great deal. When I go into Lowe's, I always check out the clearance section. That's how we got our bathroom floor tile.

I was talking to my hairdresser today about that and she said with really dark hair or dyed dark hair, you have to double process it to really make it work. I helped dye my DD's hair a few weeks ago and couldn't get it light enough.

Well, I have my first dent on my truck.

I hit a stop sign today.

No joke. My son was looking through a bag in the back seat (it had Sweetie's feminine hygiene products in it) and I turned slightly around to tell him to stop. The rest is history. I hit the sign and I smacked it good. Truck doesn't even have 10,000 miles on it yet, but I'm not sending this in to insurance. It won't even hit my $250 deductible.

I don't get why ya'll are blaming it on the stop sign. Seems to me that those dreaded feminine hygene products are at the root of this.

Now that I think about it......I think you are right.

Good Friday Morning! My husband's 1 month layoff extended to 1 1/2 months. We were getting pretty down and then yesterday he got the call to return to work Monday. Now to dig ourselves out of this hole.

I was supposed to work 4 days this week. Needless to day, I was happy about that. We were buying groceries on the little $ I make. Then I got a call and was done for the week b/c she asked her mother to take 2 days. Her mother has to drive at least 60 miles to get to her house, but less she has to pay me. Yes, she knows my husband is laid off and we are eating off my pay. So sick of being told I will get more hours only for them to be taken away. After we got gas and gave my son lunch $, it only left $40 for food.

I know the feeling on trying to survive on one salary. I was all ready to try to get $150 from my parents last night so I could get gas in my car and try to survive till next payday next week. Lo and behold my tax return came in so I didn't have to beg. Too bad it's already spent.

Yeah, unemployment is not enough to pay the bills. The few hours I work don't help much either. Yay for taxes coming to the rescue.
