The house people want to meet with DH and I on Saturday morning. The lady (who showed it to us) called my work today to verify my employment. My boss asked if she just needed that info or did she need a reference as well. The lady said no, she wasn't looking for a reference but if she wanted to give one.....Well, apparently I was given a "glowing report!" I love my boss.

Now, I'm having anxiety over what do we do if we actually get offered the house??!! You would think it's pretty cut and dry but I guess I just never thought we'd actually get this far. It seems the owners really are more concerned with getting the "right people" rather than just fill it as quickly as possible.

Thats great!! I'm still trying to get my shoe situation worked out. I have not found a pair of athletic shoes that I can wear for any lenght of time. And I am soooo shoe vain.

I am too! I am terrible. But I've gotten to the point where I can't be as vain. It is hard to come down off the shoe pedestal, believe me.

It does, but I'm having all kinds of angst over this. DH12 just plain doesn't want to move. No, I don't let my kids make the decisions in something like this, but there are a lot of factors to consider (not least among them that after our last 15 months, a little stability might be the real need right now, y'know?). DS15 was in that town today and said he went by the house. His overall attitude wasn't terribly positive. He thinks it's too small. It's deceiving from the outside and if he'd gone with DH to see it the other day (he didn't want to) then he'd know it's really a TARDIS.....
