We are going to Boma for Mother's Day and bringing my almost 9 month old. She has no teeth. I'm wondering if there will be anything at the buffet she can try. She's tried a few soups, some hummus, baby yogurt, etc previously. Any advice?

My DD loved mashed potatoes at that age. I would try the FuFu (I think that is what it is called)..sweet and white potatoes and very good. Lots of soups and tons of variety. I think it would be fun for a baby and you can walk around the hotel after and watch the animals.

She can kinda stand, but not walk. She does love AK though, I bet she will love the lodge.

Lots of 'mush' served on this buffet, enjoy.

The scrambled eggs with goat cheese might be an option. There's also pap, which is pretty similar to grits. Might be too textured/not mushy enough for such a young baby.

She loved the buffet! We had to cut her off; she would have eaten soup and fufu all night.
