Okay, this has nothing to do with BAB. But since all us exchangers read this, I thought Id tell you all...
My mom just called me this morning to tell me she won $600 in Vegas last night. Woo Hoo!!!!
And.... you'll all be so proud of me....
Since ive been exchanging, ive aquired a fair number of yankee candle tarts. The other day I counted and i have 26! Yankee candle tarts, and had no idea how to use them. So I opened one up, and searched for the wick. Surely, every candle (or tart) has a wick? Um.. yeah it doesnt. So here i am smelling this delicious rasberry cream tart when I decide that since my Disney trip was canceled this weekend, I needed a disney fix, so off to the
Disney store I went. (its an hour trek down to South Sarasota) The sarasota mall also has a Yankee Candle store, so i'll kill two birds with one stone.
Well i get to the Disney store and keep wishing that suddenly my adult body will shed away and I can fit into those kids princess costumes. Those dresses are so pretty! So finally, after perusing around Hot Topic, purchasing some MUCH NEEDED napoleon dynamite magnets, i enter the yankee candle store. I walk around... smelling the new fall and holiday scents. And i come across these pretty ceramic conatainers and there, behold, a sign that says 'Tart Burners'. So i pick one up (its blue with moons and stars) and Im trying to figure out the implications of how the heck a tart burner works. So then, this INCREDIBLY HANDSOME (read: gay) associate comes up and says 'How ya doin' And im like 'good' and he looks at me, and says 'Sooo you interested in these tart burners. And i looked at him and said " well... ive got about 25 tarts. ANd no idea how to make use of them. Since theyre yankee candle tarts. I figured I should come here." he laughed and explained the tart burner for me. So I purchased two new tarts (chocolate chip cookie and vanilla caramel) and my very own orange tart burner. For my 70's living room.
And thats my tart burner story. Hope you enjoyed. lol.
