BAB $29.99 deal - anyone know if you can use it at DTD?

So, I got a flyer in the mail from Build a Bear. (through August 18) It says Any Make-Your-Own Animal + Any Outfit + Any Shoes for $29.99. Does anybody know if this deal is good at the DTD location? It doesn't say anything about selected locations or selected animals or selected outfits; do you think they would let you get the deal on the Disney-themed ones?

We're going to be there next weekend and I was thinking about letting my girls get these as their souvenirs, if the deal is good there. i guess I could not mention it to the girls at all, then ask when we get there, but I hate going into BAB if we aren't going to buy something.

Are you talking about the T-Rex build a bear? If so, in July of 2010 they wouldn't even let my girlfriend who worked for build a bear where we are from use her employee discount. They said it was something about the people that "owned" T-Rex.

No, I didn't even know there was a T-Rex BAB at Disneyland's DTD! I have girls, and they aren't really into dinos, so I must have overlooked it. I was curious about the free-standing BAB location. We went in last time, but didn't buy anything. I saw that they had special Disney-character themed outfits (Ursula comes to mind) and some bears with mickey head print, etc.

I can tell you the DtD BAB location does give discounts. There is an Annual Passholder discount, plus a ubiquitous $5 off coupon. Whether they will honor your flyer, I don't know. Is the flyer advertising a national sale? Does it say something like "participating locations" or "selected locations"? Is it a "coupon"? You might want to call this number, (714) 776-5980, provided on the downtown Disney BAB website and ask directly.
