We are flying to LAX with BA via LHR - looking to check in online this Thursday. The website says we can check in 24 hours before our internal flight. Does this mean we can check in for both outward legs (ie all the way to LAX) and get boarding cards at the same time?

What about the return journey - does it allow you to check in online for that as well before you leave or will we need to access a computer 24 hours before we come home. There is a FAQ section on the website but these answers aren't there.

When we went from Dub to orlando with BA , we , if i remember where able to print boarding passes for both flights.

from my experience with BA, you will need to access a computer 24 hrs before to do your on line check but it can be done from the states as you can with virgin, hope this helps

Where does you flight originate? Are both legs BA?

You just need to go to manage my booking 24 hours before your flight departs, and literally to the minute, check in opens, but I don't think you can check in for both flights unless the second one is within the 24 hour window. You could check in for your first, and then wait until the second flight opens up later on. You can print off your boarding pass, but don't worry of you can't access a printer as you can also get one at the airport check in desk.

You can repeat the process for your return flight, but again, only 24 hours before departure and you will need internet access. We usually suss out somewhere like an internet cafe if we haven't got the laptop with us. I would recommend checking in online as it seems the majority of people use it - when we haven't, there are very few seating choices left by the time you get to the airport :goodvibes

Sorry, I just noticed you are in Manchester - I guess that's where your original flight takes off from. The only thing I am am uncertain of is whether you need to wait for both legs of the flight to open up before you can check in, or whether you can do the individually. I am sure a quick call to customer services will answer that if no-one else has the answer.
