Going back to the world Feb. 2005. Have already booked our first Disney Cruise, but have yet to actually get ourselves to FLorida! Have always used Virgin, but the last couple of times the experience wasn't good. Has anyone used BA? If so, what were your experiences?
I know that the prices & brochure will not be available until April/May due to the change that only BA will sell their holidays, so I've only been able to compare this years prices, & they were comparable to Virgin.
Any comments etc. greatly welcome!

We have used BA in the past and thought they were really good. The only reason that we do not use them is the inconvenience of having to fly to London first. ( We usually travel from Manchester)

The service was really good on the plane, the food for airline food was also good.

I've done both Virgin and BA package holidays and to be honest I've found them to be on a par with each other but I would say that BA were a little more personal but then they don't sell nearly as many holidays to Orlando as Virgin does so maybe that's why. So I would personally go with the cheaper.

That said it may be cheaper still if you book the different components of the holiday separately.

I like flying with both Virgina and BA - I've never had a bad flight with either.

Think about using Virgin because they have some great prices for Feb. We have just booked for feb 05, the price was just over a £1000 for four of us.

£419 per adult, 199 per child.
£100 off for booking before April plus 10% off for fvc (you can get 10% off per adult price if you do not belong to FVC by booking online)

If you compare them to feb 04 prices it is very good as they haven't made the half term more expensive. The next addition of the broucher will show more expensive flights for that time of year.

We've used BA several times to fly to either Orlando or Miami and also Virgin several times to both airports.

There really isn't much difference between them - we'll go with whichever one is available at the time we want to book, and/or whichever is cheaper at the time, and if the flight times suit us.

(We don't book packages so this is purely our experience with the fly-drives or flights we've taken).

One advantage with BA is that they fly to and from Orlando, Tampa and Miami, something that Virgin don't offer. Both Virgin and BA have 31" of legroom. Some of the American carriers have up to 34" in economy. You pays yer money.....
