BA Holidays

Has anyone booked a holiday directly with British Airways online before? The prices seem very decent and I've had good experiences flying with them before, but reading the thread on Virgin worries me a little. What are BA like service-wise other than for flights?

I have booked before with BA holidays before.

We had great flights out and back (free upgrade to WT+ return) but we did have a slight problem with the villa which was sorted out really quickly. The rep out there was really good.

I have also booked to go with them this October (again free upgrade to WT+ return) and hope to do the same next year but the prices aren't out yet.

My only problem with BA now is that they no longer fly to Gatwick from Aberdeen so it means a transfer from Heathrow for us.

I thought they were swapping all long haul flight to Heathrow?

We went a few weeks ago with them, no problems.
I changed my mind about the apartment (from 1 to 2 bed), then later changed the car hire and it was all dealt with fantastically well by an actual English person (no Indian call centre). I couldn't find a cheaper rate anywhere online for our accomodation, even last minute, so can definitely recommend.
