Hi Verity! I just flew this route this month and have no complaints

Entertainment was very good - lots of films to choose from

I personally had lots I wanted to watch and not enough time!
Food was also good - I ate it both ways! We had bangers and mash on our way out with a pesto pasta salad (pics on my TR) and it wasn't bad at all. Can't comment on children's meals unfortunately. On the way out we also had a chicken Caesar sandwich about 3/4 way throughout the flight. Coming home they stated there was a choice of pasta or beef. We were sitting towards the back of the flight (ha forgotten to do online check in the day before), and so by the time they reached us they had run out of pasta. We found out that the pasta was just pasta in plain tomato sauce so I wouldn't have chosen that anyway, so I really wasn't bothered! The beef was some beef in tomato-based sauce with a vegetable rice accompaniment. Sort of like a curry, but not. That's probably no help at all haha! For the people that refused beef, there was some talk about seeing what they had left from the Club level etc. We also then had a breakfast box shortly before landing with some cranberry/orange loaf, a yoghurt, flapjack thingy and mints.
Cabin crew were great both ways, but looked a lot more flustered on the way back - I think that's to do with some very difficult passengers in our area of the plane giving everyone a hard time. There's also some aren't there?! Anyhow, they were still attentive and had no problems with getting soft drinks (and wine) numerous times.
The planes seemed a little more tired than when I flew this route in 2011. Not uncomfortable by a long shot - I just noticed a bit of a difference. Temperature was a bit too high on both legs, but nothing taking off my jumper couldn't solve! I wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again - twice now I've had fantastic fares on this route by booking a codeshare through Iberia!
