Has anyone here done a B2B cruise in Vancouver? We are going to do 2 Alaska cruises in a row in 2026 and while I’ve read lots of threads on B2B’s in the PC terminal I can’t seem to find anything about the process in Vancouver. I’m guessing it’s not a very common thing to do B2B Alaska but we love cruising there with DCL! We have the same room for both cruises and know that we can leave our stuff in the room except what we need to re-board, but will we be allowed back onto the ship before everyone else? I did see one report that said no one in the terminal really knew what was going on but that was also when cruising just started up again and they were still doing pre-embarkation testing, so it was quite different than it is now. Just hoping a few people have some first hand experience to share!

Thanks in advance!

We have done a few but not in Vancouver. Our last experience on the Dram last September out of South Hampton
. We were told to meet in a lounge at 930. It was jam packed by the way at least 200+ people. They escorted us off around 10. We re checked in bring all your documents. They will send you a letter the day before. Then we sat for about an hour in the port waiting to be brought back on. We were probably there an hour before new boarding started. They ask you not to go in and out of your room before the time all rooms are available. That was our quickest turn around. San Juan and San Diego took way longer. Both of those times we were told the computers
went down so it slowed the process
B2B cruises are my favorite thing to do. We have another one coming up this September out of South Hampton again.

Thank you for the information! Curious to see if anyone else will be B2B with us - doesn’t seem super common for the Alaska cruises. Looking forward to seeing how it works in Vancouver.

we did a B2B Alaska in 2019, probably less then 20 people from what I remember
pretty much the same process as we did recently in FLL
Received a letter the day before, met in a lounge, somone took us out thru security & rechecked us in with passports, etc then waited in a specific area in terminal, where somone got all the B2B people, then boarded the ship before anyone else
have to go thru safety drill 2nd time,
for us the entire process was about 2 hrs to get off the ship & back on
