B2B testing question

Yep, you meet at one of the lounges that they will inform you of (time and place) and they will escort you straight off to customs and then to the testing tents and you all will be the first ones to test. Then once cleared (the entire B2B group) you will all be escorted back into the terminal and be the first back on board once they are ready for you.

So, if that is the case, then no leaving the port area in between? We're doing b2b in Vancouver, and I was wondering if we'd be able to have lunch in Vancouver in between our cruises. Though I suppose that just puts us back out in the risk pool, so I get that keeping us in a bubble isn't a bad idea.

I believe you can always leave if you want, probably just let them know first. When you return you would then be tested and have to wait until your normal arrival/ boarding time.

Do you have to pack your luggage and bring them out the ship with you, or can you just keep them in your stateroom as before?

(Wondering, in case you finally test positive)

This is a perfect description of what happens at Port Canaveral. Reports are that it is kind of a mess at San Diego though because the testing hall is not actually at the port. I haven’t heard anything about Miami.

You CAN do that, but they discourage it for exactly the reason you list. After you test for your second leg, you have to get right back on. So, if you left the pet, you’d have to pick a PAT and board with the rest of the new guests.

You do not. If you test positive, they will pack your things for you.

Thanks-- we are fine with sticking around to decrease any chances of testing issues. But was just checking in case we wanted to meet up with local friends. (Though being a Monday, it's probably just as well-- they may be working.)
