If you are doing b2b, where do people wait, as you disembark and get back on to the next cruise? In the terminal? Or do you leave the terminal and come back? I’m thinking it’s at least 4 (maybe 5?) hours in between…

tia!! 🌸

Hi. Just recently came back from a B2B, late Oct. You will meet at the vista cafe, or similar as noted, a crew member will meet you and you will ALL wlk out together. You will proceed to the tent for a test, then go to one of the tents...all b2b customers. When all b2b's have the results in,crew member walks you to terminal, seated in special seats (they really keep everyone together)...last count and you go back onboard! It's flawless!

oh awesome! Thank you for this. So you don’t even need to take hot luggage with you?

Wait…you get tested…covid testing? Haven’t traveled/cruised since the pandemic, and haven’t been reading up on the new procedures yet. So everyone embarking needs a covid test?

Took about 30min

so you are free to roam around the ship, the entire time on your own after getting back on? Like a great photo op?!! But nothing is open till like noon or shortly there after, right?

You should be able to go to your room earlier than the others...they move your luggage for you if you are changing rooms...and yes, I for one put my swimsuit on and in the hot tub I went... there were about 14 groups that were b2b and we were overtaking the adult pool area! Just kidding, but it truly was a blast!🤭🙂

When we did our B2B, it was a few years ago, before Covid. We got a letter on our bed the night before the switchover telling us the options and procedures. Our home base was Barcelona. We had saved some things to do there during the switchover day and got off the ship and reboard later in the day, checked in and walked straight onto the Magic. Now, things are certainly different, but I would assume you will still get a letter telling you the latest steps you are allowed to take. We have another one coming up Sept., 2022, so we will see what we are allowed to do.
Good luck!,

Public areas are fine. They will you ask not to go back and forth to your stateroom until after they are open to new guests.

Not changing rooms. So maybe our room won’t be cleaned, but it’ll be like a daily/nightly turn down…?

oh, that is a smart idea, to be in your bathing suit! 👍🏼😂

When we’ve done b2b cruises, always in the same room, the Stateroom Host has cleaned our room first, so we could use it immediately upon reboarding. We were asked to avoid multiple room visits before rooms were open for everyone, but we did return to our room prior to going to lunch to drop off the electronics that we had been using while waiting to reboard and then in the Cove Cafe and adult pool area.
