Did anyone else get the MouseSavers email for a special on this place? I booked it for November 8-10 and it says that it's the MouseSavers Hot Deal rate but it doesn't mention the other items in the email. Resort fee and parking fee included, a 2-for-1 coupon for dinner at their Flatbed Truck Buffet Dinner and Free Room Upgrade. I've never booked using a MouseSavers Hot Deal before so I wanted to make sure it was legit and I don't have to worry.

Also, has anyone stayed here yet? I haven't been here since it was the Royal Plaza but it looks like they've redone EVERYTHING!

I'm interested in this offer as well. Wondering if you can walk to downtown disney from there... And if so how far is it.

It's where Royal Plaza was. It's right there in the DTD area. You could walk but I think it takes 10-15 minutes. I haven't tried walking it in years.

You can trust anything from Mousesavers. I got it too and now looking at my calendar just so I can take advantage of it.

I stayed there last weekend with a special deal of $89 but I had to pay resort fee and parking fee - so this is great. It is totally walk-able. And after 5 nights at DTD hotels, am much more impressed with bus schedules. They were a constant. I had stayed there when it was Royal Plaza and have to say I was totally WOWED when I walked in. They completely renovated every surface. It is modern and edgy but yet feels very inviting and spa like. Everyone was so nice, there wasn't one person we walked past that didn't greet us. Electronic info boards in lobby you can even check flight information.

The plus of older hotel buildings is the bigger rooms. We had a room with two queen beds and a loveseat sofa bed (twin) overlooking Downtown Disney. The beds were SO comfortable, even sofabed mattress was good. Tons of storage, mini-fridge, coffee, in room snacks ($) but I have to say they were such good snacks for the first time I was tempted. Very tech ready with lots of plugs, USB port and interesting was all the plugs were international standard.

We had no time for buffet but restaurant looked awesome, had a great happy hour and I've read good reviews for it. Also a grab and go off lobby and next to pool. Pool has added zero entry and spray fountains. Some of the nicest lounges - cushioned and nice to walk out to rolled up towels on them. Some rooms facing the pool, if first floor had their own courtyards with outdoor sofas and you can enter pool from there. Great for families. Pool bar, giant outdoor chess set, and tons of cushioned seating/tables all around under roof areas. Next to pool is also a big kids rec room with video games (not arcade) etc.

It's new - more boutique type - so I am sure they are putting out these specials to pick up a following. I wouldn't hesitate if I were all adults, family with teens or family with young ones. Really is something for every age! My adult DS said this may be his go to resort from now on.

HopperFan - Would you please tell me about the bathroom? Is it a tub or walk-in shower stall? I've seen pics of both but would like to know which one so I can tell DH.

Also, do the beds have feathers? Most do now and I'm allergic.

Thanks for the rest of the info. I can't wait to go next month.

I've seen pictures of tubs and glass enclosed step over showers so I know they have both those. We had a handicapped bathroom with walk-in shower. It worked well for me showering my DS who is handicapped because of the removable shower head. I would think if you have a very specific request they will accommodate.

They called them Blissfull Beds, if felt more like some kind of foam but I can't say for sure. You might want to call and ask.

I booked today with the link directly on the email, and both fees were waived! You have to click the link thru the email, not on th ms website.

I am sitting here contemplating this deal as well. DH and I celebrate our 15th anniversary next month and were just going to go away to a local hotel for 3 nights. However..... this deal can't be beat! My one concern is we usually stay at Disney owned properties and have free parking at the theme parks because of this. We don't usually take the busses. If we stay here at "The B" we would have to pay to park at the theme parks I'm assuming. So... how are the busses from this resort? Don't want to waste a bunch of time waiting for busses. HopperFan or anyone else what are your thoughts?

I have AP (free parking) so we drive to the parks. But we spent the last two weekends at B Resort and Doubletree Suites and the one thing I kept saying was I couldn't believe how many buses there were running. There was always one coming in, going out or sitting at the hotels. Hopefully someone who has actually used them lately can help.

To my knowledge just staying at a Disney owned property does not give you free parking at the parks. The only way to get that is to have an AP or some other pass. So, if you did not have an AP then you would have to pay to park at the theme park if you stay at "B".

I haven't stayed at a DTD hotel since "B" was "Royal Plaza" back in 2005 and then the buses were few and far between. You also shared with the other DTD hotels and it was almost last on the route so you usually had to stand.

I'm hoping things have changed. I do know they still park in the parking lots and TTC for MK so there is a little bit more walking than if you're staying on property and can catch a Disney bus.

Staying at Disney owned resorts DOES include free parking at all the parks. That would be any resort listed on the Disney World website.

That does not include privately owned hotels located on Disney property such as ALL the resorts at Downtown Disney. In that case you would have to pay for parking if you did not have an AP.

We usually stay at Disney owned properties like AKL, POR, AOA, Etc. and they do include free parking at the theme parks. So that aspect would be different for us if we chose to stay at the B. I never considered that the shuttles may share between the DTD hotels. That is definitely something to look into it and consider, thank you.

I booked this deal this week for 11/21-23. DH and I are spending a week in Sanibel and driving up to attend the MVMCP on Friday and then your the resorts on Saturday. I clicked the link from the website and my email confirmation does indicate resort fee and parking fee waived. It does not provide any info about room upgrade or restaurant coupon. I am hoping these will be shared upon check in. I was very excited to see this deal as we have talked about visiting Wdw to see the decorations, but our schedules and budget didn't allow. Once I saw the deal...my wheels were spinning and before I knew it....I had changed my return flight and extended our car rental.:cool1:

My last stay included upgrade and coupon. I got both plus a spa coupon at check-in. Hoping I can work in trip back!

Just returned from a two night stay in a pool view room. I got the Mouse Savers rate of $89 per night with resort & parking fees waived.

The hotel is very sleek and modern, beautifully appointed.

Beds were super comfy.

Walked to and from DTD on arrival night, easy walk.

No time to eat in the hotel, but will make time for food on my next visit (yes, I will be going back).

The staff is friendly and efficient.

Bus stop has couches and the transportation provided very good. :goodvibes

Just back from a two night stay using the Mouseavers rate. Loved it. We took advantage of the room upgrade and had a room on the 15th floor with a view of the Epcot fireworks. The room was clean, spacious, modern, comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to walk to Downtown Disney. Would definitely go back.

Swan and Dolphin guests get free theme park parking.

But, their relationship with Disney is unique.

This is true, which is why I referred to the DTD hotels.

But they do have resort fees and parking fees at the hotel like most DTD hotels.
