If you book through wdw, are there resort fees? I don’t see info about it on wdw site

Going through the WDW website you get this for package (I didn't see a room only option via Disney). It appears they built them into the full package price already and parking will be extra just like a Disney resort.

Rate Details

  • Package price based on the party size and travel dates provided.
  • Includes a base ticket valid for one theme park per day for the number of nights of your stay plus one.
  • Maximum number of ticket days included is 10.
  • Mandatory hotel fees, if applicable, are included in the package price.
  • The first day of ticket use must be on or before December 31, 2019. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use.
  • Availability is not guaranteed until payment is received.
  • Valet and self-parking (additional fee)

I took the same dates with 5 day base tickets via Disney, B Resort direct and Mousesavers.

Disney came out $1457
B Resort direct with their own discount came out $1515
Mousesavers discount (included waived resort fee) came out $1165

I think for any non-Disney hotels I would shop all my options before I would book via Disney.

Thanks! For dates 11/3-11/10 with 5 day park hopper, I'm getting a difference of only $60 between WDW & mouseovers so I was surprised

Are you signed up for Mousesavers emails? I received an email from them about 10 days ago that The B Resort has a discount being offered until July 5 for 30 percent off plus resort fee waived. I booked a room for October for 7 days for just under $900.
If you're not signed up, you might want to be notified of these great discounts.

I booked B Resort with the Mousesavers rate for six nights over Thanksgiving week. With the discounted rate and the waived resort fees, the whole reservation came out to $300 less than booking directly through B's site. I originally had an All Star Music Family suite booked, but the discounted B rate is saving us just over $1300. Even if the transportation is not as convenient as staying onsite, $1300 will pay for a lot of Uber rides!

Wow!

Yup. The mousesavers 30% plus no resort fees got me an 8 night stay in sept for $905, all taxes etc included.

Wth disney's own discounts for sept, it prob only saves me $150-200 over POP for that week, but I'll take it!
