I would like some recommendations about where to have an adult birthday dinner. Our last night will be spent at the MK at MNNSHP, so we need something for my mother's b-day dinner somewhere easily accessible to MK. She would really like O''Hana's, but unless someone cancels, the earliest they have is 8:30, which conflicts with the party festivities. Any suggestions?

I would pick one of the resorts on the Monorail! Or take the boat launch...

So far we haven't had a yucky meal at GF Cafe and it is a nice place without being stuffy!

But my DM likes to eat at LTT! We will be going again this trip in November (her birthday month!). After so many heavy or fancy meals...or quick meals...this one just tastes like Thanksgiving (which we don't cook as we all work weird schedules)....

I am a huge Kona Cafe fan. The food is excellent, service was superb and it would still be at the Polynesian and therefore close to the MK. I don't think you could go wrong there personally.

For Mom - choose Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. Trust me on this one! My most memorable birthday was last year at Liberty Tree. Tell them that you are celebrating a birthday. Minnie and the gang will visit your table a LOT!

Enjoy! :cool1:

If you want a MK ADR on A MNSSHP night.
Book now.
Not easy to get ADR with the DDP.
A lot are full already.
Good luck.

Wow...2 people agree with me...one on GF Cafe and the other on LTT! Do I know you guys?

Guess you need to check out all the menu's now right?

My mom and dad went and we celebrated his birthday at the Garden Grill at Epcot. It wasn't too far using the monorail. He had a blast! He loved Mickey, chip and dale and he smiled bigger than the kids. :) It was easy to book into also since it's not as big of a draw as some of the others.

We also enjoyed the Liberty Tree Tavern with Minnie. My daughter had her birthday there and they got her up to dance with them. It wasn't hard to reserve either. So it depends on the characters you want to see or what kind of meal you want.

Have fun! ;)

Oh, trust me, I already have, been booked for a month. ;) We're at the Crystal Palace right now, cause I couldn't find anything else available. And I actually had LTT for that night, that was the original plan, but we had to change our ressie when my mom's fiance decided to come with us, and lost it. Now they are solidly booked for the whole day unfortunately, and it does not look like anyone will cancel, because of the MNNSHP. :sad1:

Thanks for the suggestions. I may go with GF Cafe, but I haven't heard good things about the dinner there. Maybe people just had bad days.
